About us

OASIPOR began its activity in 2003, in response to a challenge posed by some private companies in the healthcare sector, beginning the manufacture and distribution of single-use medical devices, under its brand, Medicalwear.

The company manufactures and distributes sterile and non-sterile medical devices, namely: surgical bags, surgical drapes, surgical gowns, surgical covers, circulation and protective clothing, surgical masks, among others.

OASIPOR is also a wholesale distributor and importer of medical devices and personal protective equipment (e.g.: FFP2 and FFP3 masks, protective glasses and protective visors).

All sterile class I medical devices, manufactured by OASIPOR - Medical S.A. are in compliance with Directive No. 93/42/CEE, of June 14th 1993 and, in the case of class I medical devices, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 2017/745, of April 5th.

Objectives, activities and expected / achieved results:

This project aims at the internationalization of Oasipor - MedicalWear S.A..

The products produced and marketed by the company are Class I and Sterile Class I single use medical devices. These products are consumables, used daily in surgeries (operating room) and performing imaging exams. Its product line is divided into five categories: Sterile Surgical Gowns, Sterile Sets and Surgical Drapes, Sterile Custom Packs, Sterile Microscope Coverage and Non-Sterile Products.

According to Oasipor's market-oriented policy, with the completion of this project the company will create new MedicalWear branded products in accordance with the needs and characteristics of the external target markets in which the company intends to operate.

The healthcare industry has very specific characteristics that make it a constant need for adaptation and innovation with regard to disposable medical devices. Aware of these demands, the company will create and adapt its medical kits according to the needs of each target market, ensuring thus the success of its internationalization process.

Therefore, it is considered that the company's growth direction is diversification, as the company will create new products adapted to new foreign markets and simultaneously enter new markets.
